Troop 102 Williamsburg, Virginia
What We Do

We are an active Scouts BSA troop that meets on Mondays from 7-8:30 at Jamestown Presbyterian Church 3287 Ironbound Rd. We do campouts once a month and also other fun daytrips and events. Every year we go to summer camp where you can swim, earn merit badges and have a blast of fun!

Why Join?
Scouting is a safe, fun activity for all kids between the ages of 10 -17. We do service projects, camping, hiking and more. Scouts also helps you develop leadership and it also helps you to learn about certain things with merit badges. Scouting is not only good for developing skills, but it is also fun. You can go to the aquatics area at summer camp and swim and cook your own food outside where it is harder. In conclusion, if you love the woods, scouts is a great fit for you.

Aims And Methods
Scouting is a lot more than just camping outdoors. In Scouts your children will develop leadership skills and learn ways to communicate. In Troop 102 we will teach you several ways of teaching something. For example at ILST(Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops) several scouts lead a course which will teach you how to problem solve and overcome patrol development.
